Clathwaite became Claythwaite and Claythwaite Rigg, Gill and Gill Slack are marked on modern Ordnance Survey maps south west of Bungdale Head.
Wiliam Huggan and Richard Yoward were originally Rievaulx tenants of the Duke of Buckingham but moved across the river Rye to became tenants at Antofts. Orleans Head was land adjacent to Scawton Croft.
Richard Scurr was a descendant of Robert Scurr who served as a juror on a manor Court in 1588. Richard was the last member of the family to farm at Scawton.
