Population census 1881

The following adults 21 years of age or older were listed in the 1881 census. Only the ones marked * were living in the village in 1851 and those marked † were not listed on the 1881 Deed of Sale.

The population fell from 149 to 126 between 1851 and 1881 and the number of those age 18 and over fell from 89 to 68. The number of farm labourers fell from 24 to 14 and that of farm servants from 9 to 7. A blacksmith and tailor had disappeared but there was still a dressmaker.
